Tokenize
Most of the UI has now been built and functions are starting to be integrated into the user interface. We expect the UI to be fully implemented by the end of next week and for everything to be connected up and functional within a few weeks after that. We will then start private testing of the app.
NexScript
NexScript has been integrated with the NexCore library and now NexScript smart-contracts can be built into addresses via templates. The next functionality to implement is the ability to build a transaction that makes use of a smart-contract.
Otoplo Wallet
Great progress is being made in developing the Otoplo wallets for Android and iOS. We expect to begin private testing of them in the next weeks. We will update you accordingly.
Wally Wallet
Wally Wallet version 2.35 has been released with NFT support, including viewing and transfer. There is now a website for it at https://wallywallet.org
Marketing
We are launching a new social media rewards campaign to support those that spread the word on social media. Our community has been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals, and we believe that incentivizing them will help us move even faster towards our objectives.
Both programs (Minnow and Whale Program) will start as per the first of June 2023. More information in this Medium article.
Technical Research
Paul has been doing a ton of research on novel multi-UTXO smart-contract architectures to unlock the full potential of Nexa script and to make further progress on the Instant Transaction technology we are developing at Otoplo.
He developed a new technique he calls the ‘Compressed Modular Smart-contract Architecture’ and it enables an enormous number of new possibilities for EVM-like capabilities on Nexa. He’s been using this architecture to start developing our DAO builder tool. He will be releasing a specification on this technique in the next weeks, and he’s very excited to see what developers can do with it.
Developer Tools & Documentation
Andrew Stone have produced new documentation on the NexaRPCKotlin and NexaScriptMachine libraries which can be found at https://nexa.gitlab.io/nexarpckotlin/index.html and https://nexa.gitlab.io/nexascriptmachinekotlin/index.html
Some updates have been released for the Wally Enterprise Wallet to make it easier to use and more powerful. Its possible to now also use NexaScriptMachineKotlin for contract validation.
